As part of our travel experience, we're staying in, The Kinlay House, a hostel in the heart of downtown Galway. Certainly, when most people think of hostels, they think "youth hostels." While the majority of the hostel inhabitants are "youthful," there are all ages. It is an interesting experience - one that our years of camping and motorhoming has prepared us for.
We have a "private family room," so we aren't sleeping with others - even so, we are using strategies for getting a good sleep (i.e., earplugs :-)
The location of the hostel is very convenient and the breakfast is good. It's fun to hear people speaking in all kinds of languages.
After our hostel, we'll be back to a more traditional hotel rooms, but at least for me, it's been fun to stay here these couple of nights.
