The Cliffs of Mohr

We left Galway this morning and decided to try and see the Cliffs of Mohr on our way to Shannon. Our attempt at seeing the Cliffs of Mohr on our way to Galway was thwarted by rain.

Today, we had a mixture of rain and sunny skies - the weather can change in minutes. So we took advantage of the moments when the sky wasn't raining to get some photos of these beautiful cliffs. Note - even though we did have some "dry moments," we still had 35 mph winds with gusts up to about 45 mph. Luckily, the wind was coming at us from the Atlantic so was blowing us away from the cliffs.

David was totally prepared with his new Irish wool hat and mittens that he brought from Minnesota.

We know many of you have seen these beautiful cliffs, but for those of you who haven't, hope you can add it to your bucket list.

We're staying in Shannon tonight, and then tomorrow we'll drop off Mike and our car at the Shannon Airport while the rest of us will travel on to Dublin for a few days.
