Today we drove around the Dingle Peninsula on the western side of Ireland which is known for its rugged beauty. Greg did a great job navigating the narrow roads with hedges on both sides - many points of the loop are actually a single lane, the the driver needs to be very attentive.
Our first stop was Inch Beach that is a surfing mecca in Ireland - the waves were great but we didn't see surfers in the water today.
We stopped and had lunch in the town of Dingle known for seafood restaurants, great pubs, and traditional Irish music.
After lunch we continued on the Dingle loop where we were able to make several stops to take in the beautiful panoramic views of the ocean and crashing waves. We were so lucky to have beautiful weather for the entire day!
We arrived back in Dingle just in time to enjoy a pint at John Benny's Pub - we enjoyed Guinness and Creans, a beer brewed in Dingle.
