Our youngest son, Andrew, has been teaching English in Paris this past year. Steve, who taught in France two years ago, decided to take a leave from his job and use the opportunity to go back to France to see some of his French friends and spend time with Andrew.
Knowing that two of our boys would be together in Europe in May, we decided that it would be a wonderful opportunity for the rest of us (David, Mike, Greg, and I) to join them and take a family trip. After some discussion, we settled on a trip to Ireland. We thought Ireland would offer a wide range of activities that our family loves including hiking, biking, music, etc.
David, Mike, Greg, and I leave Minneapolis tomorrow to fly to Shannon, Ireland where we will meet up with Steve and Andrew. Meanwhile Steve and Andrew have left France and are enjoying a weekend in London before they meet us in Ireland on Monday.
